To all people of Mashghara,

We would like to announce that our activities were not restricted to the social parties, but we performed several others, one of them was requested by people from Mashghara we practiced it with them. They donated for the last two years, $7786.00 in memory of people who left us to the eternal life. All this money was collected without the presence of a box. Some of this money was left in the society’s treasury, and some was donated to the Cancer Society and the Ottawa Heart Institute. The part we received was donated to people in our hometown Mashghara. Two points to note:

1. The donator has the right to donate to the Mashghara Benevolent Society, where neither the society nor the bereaved family has the right to refuse this donation.

2. The bereaved family can request that the money collected be deposited in the society treasury or any other organization they choose (social or spiritual).

In any case, the society will send the bereaved family the donators list and stickers to mail the thank you letter. The society will send a receipt for the donations left in its treasury. For the donations transferred to other organizations, this organization will send a receipt for it.

During 2003-06-16 board meeting, a majority decision was taken to continue this kind of activities to stay close to the bereaved family during these dire times. The society will be ready to do whatever the bereaved family asks. From this, we request that the people of Mashghara who wish to participate in this activity, fill one of the attached forms and either give it to one of the society directors or mail it. If the box “Other” is checked in the form, we will send that money to the organization requested by the bereaved family.

Please find enclosed several forms and envelops for this purpose.
