Who is behind this work
This newsletter and the web site are organized by the Mashghara Benevolent Society in Ottawa Canada. The society members are originally from Mashghara Lebanon. The purpose of the society is to keep Mashgharians close to each other, and to meet and exchange ideas and opinions other than political or religious. Also to be a central point to provide assistance in case of hardship and general adverse circumstances

Feedback and Help
Any help or feedback is always appreciated. Suggestions, and ideas for the Mashghara web site will be considered and implemented when time allows.

Credits
This tab is dedicated to famous people from Mashghara, we already published for Zaki Nassif, Msgr Ghazal and Daoud Sayegh. More will be published in the near future.

For the non so famous or the will be ones, this page is also for them. Send us your input and we will publish after the approval of the web site committee.

History
I could not find anything about Mashghara in the Encyclopedia Britannica. I think we are not giving Mashghara what it deserves. The only thing I could find, is what was left by Father Abi Hana. I have published the first article and its translation to English is underway. The second article will be published in the future. Translation to French of these articles and any other history about Mashghara will also be appreciated. Anyone has a map for Mashghara? please send it to us.
